  • Site number/quality: #50, level gravel pad, well shaded.
  • Park quality: clean park, narrow roads in campground close to trees.
  • Access: Easy access from IL 37, just off I-65, not far from I-57.
  • Connectivity: Verizon OK, Cricket/AT&T strong, T-Mobile OK
  • Return yes/no?: Yes
  • Notes: No campers in our area, had the place to ourselves except for wild turkeys and other birds. The park reminded us of Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio. Hilly with caves and lots of trees, really nice. One odd thing is that there wasn’t anyplace to check in when we arrived at the park. I called the ranger and was told to just set up on the site we had reserved online. We did see workers (mowers, etc) in the park, so I assumed somebody saw that we were there.
