Hershey RV and Camping Resort (TT) – Lebanon PA

RATING: ♦♦♦♦♦
  • Length of stay: 8 days
  • Cost per night: $0.00
  • Discount: Thousand Trails
  • Hook ups: 50 amp electric, water, and sewer.
  • Site number/quality: #H-3. Gravel and dirt pad. Slightly unlevel. Nicely shaded. Site was terraced on the hillside. Though it was not very large, there was no one on our curb side, so we had an unobstructed view of the grounds and the lake below, making the site feel much larger than it actually was.
  • Park quality: One of the nicest Thousand Trails parks we have been to. Has lots of positive reviews, so others feel the same. The park itself is divided into four loops: A, B, and C, which are on the flats, and H, which is hilly but the sites are terraced. A is currently closed to the public. B and C loops have a surcharge for 50 amp. H loop has 50 amp with no surcharge.
  • Access: Accessed off US-322. Not far from either I-81 or I-76.
  • Connectivity: Verizon weak, Cricket/AT&T OK with antenna, T-Mobile weak.
  • Return yes/no?: Would love to.
  • Notes: The park is close to Hershey PA, home of the Hershey Chocolate Company and the company’s various tourist attractions: Hershey’s Chocolate World, Hersheypark, Hersheypark Stadium, Hershey Gardens, and of course the Giant Center, where America’s Largest RV Show is held each year. We visited Chocolate World, but our favorite by far was Hershey Gardens.
