  • Notes: The campground is in a secluded setting along the Caloosahatchee River, but it is only 15 minutes from the town of Labelle where there are restaurants, gas stations, Walmart and other shopping. The park has paved roads, nice for walking or bike riding. There are no planned activities or swimming pool, but we enjoyed watching boats pass through the locks on their way along the Okeechobee Waterway. We also spotted a family of otters, many bird species and turtles, and a large alligator in the river below the dam. We enjoyed Easter weekend with Jennifer and the grandkids, who live about a half hour from the park.
