Sturbridge RV Resort (TT) – Sturbridge MA

RATING:
  • Length of stay: 7 days
  • Cost per night: $0.00
  • Discount: Thousand Trails
  • Hook ups: 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Cable TV.
  • Site number/quality: #D-15. Tiny dirt pad. Very unlevel front to back.
  • Park quality: Worst Thousand Trails park we have been to so far. Despite the name, the park is no resort. This came as no surprise to us. We had read many other reviews that said it is the worst TT in their opinion as well. Small sites, rundown facilities, lots of seasonals, bumpy dirt roads, and a tight turn on the way in and out of the campground. But it does have full hookups, and is centrally located in southern New England. Also very close to Old Sturbridge Village, which we did not have an opportunity to visit.
  • Access: Easy access off I-84.
  • Connectivity: Verizon OK, Cricket/AT&T strong with antenna, T-Mobile OK.
  • Return yes/no?: Only if necessary.
  • Notes: Used this park as a home base for visiting New England. Left the motorhome at the park and drove around the area by car. Visited Portsmouth, Portland, Kennebunkport, and Boston.
