Hidden Cove RV Park (TT) – Arley AL

RATING: ♦♦♦
  • Length of stay: 5 days
  • Cost of stay: $0
  • Discount: Thousand Trails
  • Hook ups: Electric, water, sewer
  • Site number/quality: #27 or #28 I think, can’t remember exactly. The site was a nice level pull-thru, with gravel parking and grassy yard area with shrubs for privacy between neighbors, and a shade tree.
  • Park quality: Small park nestled down low along Lewis Smith Lake. The weather was rainy while we were there, and it was off season, so we didn’t take advantage of the activities or amenities, but we explored the lake shore which is beautiful. The park has a boat launch and fishing deck. The swimming pool is in a strange location, pretty far from the camping area. It was closed and looked forlorn when we were there.
  • Mail: No
  • Access: Park is quite a way off the beaten path. Scary road leading to the park entrance, steep downhill, narrow and twisty.
  • Connectivity: No connection, the park is down in a hole
  • Return yes/no?: Surprisingly, yes
  • Notes: The lake area is very cool, would come back to explore when weather is better.
