Indian Lakes RV Park (TT) – Batesville IN

RATING: ♦♦♦
  • Length of stay: 3 days
  • Cost of stay: $0
  • Discount: Thousand Trails
  • Hook ups: Electric, water, sewer
  • Site number/quality: Don’t remember site number, but it was in Phase Two in the front of the park. The site was a pull-thru, gravel and grass, but no shade. It had been raining a lot, and the gravel parking area drained well, but the grassy area did not. We had to spread plastic over the mud to get to the hookups.
  • Park quality: Our stay was short and the weather was bad, but we were able to take a short walk around and explore a little. The park seemed to be well managed, and looks like it could be fine during the summer. It is very large and spread out, with a pond and golf course. Park has the usual permanent residents.
  • Access: Easy access, a short drive off I-74
  • Connectivity: Verizon ok
  • Return yes/no?: Yes
  • Notes: Our slide broke as we were getting ready to leave. Lee’s Country RV sales and service is directly across the street from the park. They sent a couple of guys over to muscle in the slide so the rv could be driven to their service garage. We left the rv there to be fixed, and drove home to Toledo until it was ready to pick up.
