  • Hook ups: 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Also has cable TV.
  • Site number/quality: #14. Level, gravel pad. Picnic area with table. Long site.
  • Park Quality: This is a very nice private campground. Clean, nicely laid out, and well managed.
  • Access: The campground is on TX-118 in Alpine, TX about two miles north of US-90. Wide entry and easy check-in. Alpine is the largest town within a couple hundred miles. Unlike some of the other small Texas towns we drove through, Alpine seems alive and prosperous.
  • Connectivity: Verizon OK, AT&T OK, and T-Mobile OK.
  • Return yes/no?: Yes, if back in the area.
  • Notes: We found a small RV repair shop in Alpine that could fix our broken slideout motor. They did the install in a couple hours. Everything is working fine again. It’s good to have our slide out back. Makes our motorhome feel huge.
