- Park quality: large state park in natural forest setting on the Atlantic Ocean with nice large sandy beach, boardwalk and pier, paved roads in park
- Access: On main highway, but lots of traffic
- Connectivity: Strong Cricket AT&T and T-Mobile
- Return yes/no?: Nothing wrong with park, but would not return. Area is too congested and busy for our taste. Plus the mosquitoes were murder.
- Notes: We were there to be close to Bob and Reggie. Park is about half hour from their home, and is very well situated for site-seeing, shopping, and activities in and around Myrtle Beach. Took in a regrettable Elvis show, visited Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, and flew out to visit Steve one last time.
