Saint Clair RV Resort (TT) – St Clair MI

RATING: ♦♦
  • Length of stay: 12 days
  • Cost of stay: $0
  • Discount: Thousand Trails
  • Hook ups: Electric, water, sewer
  • Site number/quality: #C9, which was on the end of a row of very close, tight sites. The site was grassy and had a shade tree. We felt fortunate to snag this site on the end. Site selection is first come/first served, and there were very few available sites when we arrived.
  • Park quality: The park is large and spread out, with a lot of permanent or annual residents. It was in great need of TLC. The sites were weedy and sometimes indistinguishable from one another. The pool had been closed for some time, the manager mentioned she was getting quotes for a new pool. The roads were dusty, pitted gravel.
  • Mail: Yes
  • Access: Easy access, just off I-94
  • Connectivity: Verizon ok
  • Return yes/no?: Would not make a special trip to this campground, but would stay again if in the area, only because it is free to us as TT members.
  • Notes: The cities of St Clair and Port Huron are nice, with boardwalks along the beautiful St Clair River. The Blue Water Bridge to Canada is close by. Port Huron has a wonderful Farmers Market on the river’s edge. Beautiful.
