  • Notes: It took about four weeks for the hydraulic pump assembly to arrive from Lippert instead of the two weeks we were originally promised. We eventually made our way back to Junction City to have it installed along with the resealed jacks. When we arrived, we were disappointed to learn that our jacks were the type that could not be resealed after all. (What Winnebago euphemistically calls “maintenance free.”) But the shop believed that the new hydraulic pump assembly would  fix our problem even without the jacks being resealing. They  spent all day installing the new pump assembly and old un-resealed jacks, and testing the system. Despite being assured that everything was working correctly, it quickly became apparent to us back at the campground that our problem was not fixed. The next day, we told the service center, and they were surprised to see that the leveling system was indeed not working right. After a full day of diagnosing this issue, they concluded that the new pump had in fact blown out the weak seals in all four of the old jacks. And  because they couldn’t be resealed, they would have to be replaced. Cost: $850 each, plus labor plus nearly two more weeks waiting for parts. Yipes again!
