Days End RV Park (PA) – Standish CA

RATING: ♦♦♦
  • Dates: May 10, 2019 – May 12, 2019
  • Length of stay: 2 nights.
  • Cost per night: $24.
  • Discount: Half off one night with Passport America.
  • Hookups: 50 amp, water, sewer, and cable TV.
  • Site number/quality: #10. Level site on dirt pad with wooden picnic table. The site was very long but a bit narrow, with small shade trees on both sides.
  • Park Quality: Nice little RV park in the country. Perfect for a one or two night stopover.
  • Access: Easy access directly off US-395 in the small town of Standish CA.
  • Connectivity: Verizon-Good, AT&T-OK, T-Mobile-Strong.
  • Return yes/no?: Sure.
  • Notes: Standish is very small, but it is close to the town of Susanville CA, which has a Walmart, etc. Susanville is also the gateway to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Unfortunately, we were not in the area long enough to visit the park, but we could clearly see Lassen Peak, even though it was 60 miles away. The volcano has an elevation of 10,457 feet and last erupted in 1917.
