- Site number/quality: #131. Level site on concrete pad with metal picnic table. Ground covered with astroturf, which made for a clean seating area. Nice contrast to the usual dusty sites we’ve had since crossing the Mississippi. However, the site was narrow and short, and had trees with low branches making it difficult to open the slides and awnings.
- Park Quality: Very clean and orderly park. Some sites were quite roomy, but most were tight like ours. Park was nicely landscaped, yet it had a somewhat artificial feel to it. It was wonderful to have full hookups, though.
- Access: Easy access just a couple blocks off I-80 in Sparks NV.
- Connectivity: Verizon-Weak, AT&T-OK, T-Mobile-Weak.
- Return yes/no?: No.
- Notes: The Reno/Sparks has grown a lot in the past 35 years since we lived in South Lake Tahoe, and it was much more populated than we were expecting. Traffic on the interstates was very heavy. On the plus side, there was ample shopping nearby, and we were able to take care of several chores while here.
