- Site number/quality: There are 11 pull-through sites. Each is a level gravel site with a small concrete pad on passenger side. We stayed in different sites each night depending on what was open after .
- Park Quality: This is a very exclusive RV park. It is only available to customers of Redland Truck and RV while their rigs are being serviced. They provide their customers complementary campsites with full hookups in a fenced lot called the Grove. In addition to the campsites, there is a customer lobby at the Grove with free Wi-Fi, bottle water, washing machine, dryer, TV and restroom. Patio benches/tables and chairs are available outside of the lobby. Having a place to stay while the motorhome is being serviced over a few days is greatly appreciated. We’ve stayed in our share of RV shop parking lots, but the Grove takes accommodating RVers, especially fulltime RVers, to a new level.
- Access: The campground is just a few blocks off I-10 in the town of Redlands CA, near San Bernardino, and one block from the repair shop itself.
- Connectivity: AT&T and T-Mobile were both OK.
- Return yes/no?: Though we hope our motorhome will be trouble-free from now on, we would drive out of our way to have future work done here. Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. Special mention to Chris, the service writer, and Will, one of the technicians. They took the time to explain the issues and what they did to fix them. They are one of the best shops we’ve been to. If only there were more like them.
- Notes: We met the people from Redlands at the Big Tent in Quartzsite. We talked to them about some long standing issues we were having with our motorhome that other shops were unable to fix. Specifically, these were problems with our jacks and air suspension. We also wanted our brakes checked out before we began our spring trip. The Redlands team seemed to understand our issues and were confident they could help us. They were right. We are very happy with the work they did.
