Las Colinas RV Resort (PA) – Casa Grande AZ

RATING: ♦♦♦♦
  • Length of stay: 7 days
  • Cost per night: $25/night
  • Discount: Passport America 50%
  • Hook ups: 50 amp electric, sewer, water, and cable.
  • Site number/quality: #111. Flat, gravel pad with concrete sitting area. Sites are tight but neat.
  • Park Quality: This is a nice enough park, but nothing special. Friendly staff. Located between the expressway and the railroad, so it’s a bit noisy. Lots of seasonal campers. It’s easy to see why. The town of Casa Grande is only four miles up the highway with plentiful shopping. And the park is only about 65 miles from Phoenix.
  • Access: The campground is directly off I-10 where it meets I-8.
  • Connectivity: Verizon OK, AT&T Strong, and T-Mobile Strong.
  • Return yes/no?: Yes, if back in the area.
  • Notes: While here, we visited Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, which surprisingly is in the nearby town of Coolidge rather than in Casa Grande. We also had a nice visit with fellow full-timers Doug and Eileen Crawfort. Over the last two and a half years, we crossed paths with them in Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Florida, and now in Arizona. Always enjoy their company.
