RATING: ♦♦♦
- Dates: Apr 12, 2019 – Apr 14, 2019
- Length of stay: 2 nights.
- Cost per night: $20.
- Discount: Passport America.
- Hookups: 50 amp electric and water. Dump station.
- Site number/quality: #7. Level, gravel site with concrete pad and picnic table. Small shade trees on both sides of site.
- Park Quality: This is primarily a long-term RV and mobile home park. But they have added seven short-term RV sites with limited hookups in the back for overnighters. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the park was managed.
- Access: The campground is off CA-14, just north of CA-58. Very easy access. But road noise is loud being so close to the highway.
- Connectivity: AT&T and T-Mobile were both OK.
- Return yes/no?: Yes, if passing through again.
- Notes: We took a short drive up to Red Rock Canyon State Park for some hiking and picture-taking. It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time.
